Syria peace talks kick off in Switzerland
The Geneva-Two conference on Syria has officially kicked off in Switzerland. In his opening speech, the UN secretary general has called the talks an opportunity for involved parties to resolve the Syrian crisis. Delegations from over 40 countries will try to find a way of putting an end to the conflict that has dragged on for nearly three years now. This is the first time that representatives from the Syrian government and foreign-backed opposition sit face-to-face for talks. However, there are already serious doubts about the fruitfulness of the event, with a widening division among the participants on the agenda of the conference. Earlier, the UN chief said Iran was invited to the peace conference, but in a policy u-turn, Ban withdrew his invitation. Russia has said that the talks will look like profanity, without Iran's participation.- published: 22 Jan 2014

Both parties have agreed to meet for talks "in the same room" on Saturday. They accept that their talks will be based on the 2012 "Geneva 1" communique which called for a transitional governing body to be set up. Speaking on Friday evening at a news conference in Geneva, Brahimi said: "We never expected to be easy and that is sure it is not going to be. But I think that the two parties understand what is at stake. "The huge ambition of this process is to save Syria, no less than that. So I hope that all free parties, the government, the opposition and the United Nations will be up to the task," added Brahimi. 330 Till The End
Did you know that ¼ of the bible is prophecy? Did you know that there are 5000 prophecies in the bible? Did you know that 4000 have been fulfilled and more are happening faster now then ever before?
Mat 24:8 all this is but the beginning of the 'birth-pains.'
There is a deception going on in the USA and in the world. There was a man and his so-called christian organization saying that the church would be raptured this past Shabbat. There is going to to be something that comes out of today and it is not the rapture and it is bad news. With so many people with minimal knowledge of the bible hearing about this false prophet harold camping and his unfounded prophecy. And so many of those people who were hearing about the world supposedly ending today. And so many so-called christians thinking they were leaving this life today. The next phase of Adonai’s plan and the deception of the devil for all those billions of people will be that much easier because of lack of knowledge in the body and in the world. It will also be increasingly difficult for the true followers of God’s word to show those people on the spiritual fence that something is going to happen soon. Bacuase of this great deception and not holdon Till the End” the next part of prophecy is that much easier. This week the president of the USA just became an adversary to Israel. By telling Israel she needs to give up what is rightfully hers both in the secular and in the spiritual. With harold campings misinformation now more and more people will not believe in the bible. Now more and more people will say to Israel that land is not yours. So now the next phase of true prophecy will come and how we truly have to hold out till the end. If you don’t believe me here are a few things that happened recently;
TWELVE MAJOR EVENTS
(Relating to Israel's Covenant Land)
1. October 30, 1991: The Perfect Storm-As President George H. W. Bush is opening the Madrid (Spain) Conference to consider "land for peace" in Israel's Middle East role, the "perfect storm" develops in the North Atlantic, creating the largest waves ever recorded in that region. The storm travels 1000 miles from "east to west" instead of the normal "west
to east" pattern and crashes into the New England Coast. Thirty-five foot waves crash into the Kennebunkport home of President Bush.
2. August 23, 1992: Hurricane Andrew-When the Madrid Conference moves to Washington DC and the peace talks resume, Hurricane Andrew, the worst natural disaster ever to hit America, comes ashore and produces an estimated $30 billion in damage and leaving 180,000 homeless in Florida.
3. January 16, 1994: Northridge Earthquake-President Bill Clinton meets with Syria's President Hafez el-Assad in Geneva. They talk about a peace agreement with Israel that includes giving up the Golan Heights. Within 24 hours, a powerful 6.9 earthquake rocks Southern California, This quake, centered in Northridge, becomes the second most destructive natural disaster to hit the United States, behind Hurricane Andrew,
4. January 21, 1998: Lewinsky Scandal-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with President Clinton at the White House and is coldly received. Clinton and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright refuse to have lunch with him. Shortly afterwards on that day, the Monica Lewinsky scandal breaks into the mass media and begins to occupy a major portion of Clinton's time.
5. September 28, 1998: Hurricane George-As Secretary of State Albright works on the final details of an agreement in which Israel would give up 13 percent of Yesha (Judah and Samaria), Hurricane George slams into the United States Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175 mph. The hurricane hits the coast and stalled. On September 28, Clinton meets with Yasser Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize this
land deal. Later, Arafat addresses the United Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian state by May 1999, as Hurricane George pounds the Gulf Coast, causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time that Arafat departs the country, the storm begins to dissipate.
6. October 15-22, 1998: Texas Flooded-On October 15, 1998, Arafat and Netanyahu meet at the Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks are scheduled to last five days with the focus on Israel giving up 13 percent of Yesha. The talks are extended and conclude on October 23. On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San
Antonio area is deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continue until October 22 and then subside. The floods ravage 25 percent of Texas and leave over one billion dollars in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.
7. November 30, 1998: Market Capitalization Evaporates-Arafat comes to Washington again to meet with President Clinton to raise money for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. A total of 42 other nations were represented in W

Yes. You heard what I said. All of it. It's all a bunch of lies. I know that it is a shocking claim to many, that our trusted officials in concert with our reliable mass media actually participated in deliberate deception designed to get us to accept war, but deal with it. I'm making it.
Our biggest moral obligation is ensuring that wars are not waged against people under false pretenses. War is the most disgusting and horrible thing you can inflict on any person.
As you read this article I am sure you will find there are a number of things that will surprise you. After researching the situation for months I assure you I have investigated as many sides of the story as possible. But I did reach a clear conclusion and I will not shy away from openly expressing the views that I have formed during this process.
What we have been seeing recently in the media, this time with a special emphasis on the online community, is the most sophisticated propaganda firework display we have ever witnessed. It’s no surprise so many people have been duped.
But a lie can travel the world before the truth has tied it’s shoe laces. But I believe that once the laces have been tied and the truth starts walking, eventually it’s gonna get to people.
There are at least two sides to every story
None of us could possibly have avoided hearing NATO’s side of the story and the reasons and justifications given for Gaddafi’s removal and how military intervention is necessary to protect Libyan citizens.
But are you sure you’ve heard both sides? Have you heard Gaddafi’s perspective on this issue? Or have you just heard “his side” as represented by the mainstream western media? If so I can start by telling you that his words, and the words of his son, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi have been deliberately misinterpreted and edited out of context to create simple soundbite propaganda to influence people.
You will find that there is a completely different side of this story that is being completely ignored. It is not even being debated for it's merits, it simply is not talked about at all in the mainstream media.
Think about it. How much do you really know about Libya? Did you in all honesty know anything about the country before these events started unfolding? If I would have asked you back in February 10 questions about Libya and it’s affairs, how many do you think you would have answered correctly? And how much do you honestly know about what is going on there now?
I often find it intriguing how people tend to think they are qualified to give their view on things that in reality they know next to nothing about. They might have vague ideas generated by the mainstream media, biased textbooks and general pre-conceived notions, but not an actual thorough understanding of the country and it’s people and customs.
I had a discussion with a guy at a local bar the other day and I began the conversation by asking if he could tell me on what continent Libya was. Neither he nor his friend could answer correctly, picking Europe and Asia as their educated guesses. For some reason this guy still felt that his take on the situation was more accurate than mine, even as I told him I had been spending weeks investigating the matter. For those of you confused the correct answer is Africa.
I want to ask a simple question to make a simple case? Can you name me one current Libyan government official? You’re not allowed to say Gaddafi. Who holds the position of “Secretary of the General People’s Assembly” a position comparable to that of prime minister, although with a slightly different emphasis as he does not represent a political party and does not alone hold significant power. Did you even know that such a position exists in Libya and that he is elected by the people?
The less you know about something, the easier it is to deceive you.
My intention for exposing your potential and likely ignorance on this subject is not an attempt to show that I’m smarter or better than you. As I found out myself researching this article I knew remarkably little about Libya. And that is my point.
The mainstream media is focusing entirely on a set of news stories that have the specific intention of gathering support for military action and actively suppressing any story that would lead to people opposing it. This pattern will be exposed clearly as this article progresses.
It’s no wonder we don’t know much about Libya. Of course it gets confusing with all the different stories we hear of dictators and tyrants oversees. It is difficult to be an expert on all nations in the world. Just consider how many nations have existed and how long and rich each of their history is and how complex and

Khaled Khalifa: Silence is disgraceful too
“I know that words can’t stop a gun, but silence is disgraceful too.” Writer Khaled Khalifa talks about the importance of the written word, on daring to ask and answer questions, and on believing in peace through revolution.
“There is a tremor going through Syrian society, and a new life emerging. Cultural life is free from all the lies, and truth prevails in the end.” Syrian writer and poet Khaled Khalifa (b.1964) attracted worldwide media attention for his novel In Praise of Hatred (2006), which was a finalist for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, and has been banned in Syria.
In this interview Khalifa talks of how he began writing when he was just eleven, and quickly became a successful writer. Living in powerty, Khalifa went on to study law and publish many books, who’s mission were to answer questions about the life of Syrians before the revolution, especially what happened in Syria in the 1980s, which has been something nobody were allowed to ask questions about: “A new attempt to talk about how the Syrians have lived for 40 years.” He also explains how ‘In Praise of Hatred’ took him 13 years to write.
“I know that we as writers don’t yield much power during wars. I tried to empower us - to do all what we can to save a people from being slaughtered.” On the Arab spring, and the role of the intellectual, Khalifa says that the writer, journalist and artist will be crucial in building a new Syria; drawing a vision, documenting what has happened, and answering profound questions: “The Syrians have never started a fight. So it’s regrettable that the world’s institutions and the world community has given the regime all that time to quite simply kill people.”

[English/French Subtitles] Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah(HA) - War On Terror - March 21, 2002
Landmark speech by Hizbullah Secretary General - delivered on the 20st of March 2002 (6th Muharram 1423) regarding the recently (at that time recently) US imposed so-called "War on Terrorism" - following the attacks on the World Trade Centre Towers in New York.
This version has English and French Subtitles.
"The racial discrimination towards the blacks is still persisting in every aspect. Moreover, there is a racial discrimination towards the Red Indians who are the original inhabitants of the country. ...I tell you frankly that if it wasn't for the determined willingness, ... and fight of the Palestinian people, the Americans and their civilization would have decided to solve that problem of...Palestinians just like they did with the Indians. This is the picture that lies in the mind of the American." --Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah - Muharram 7, 1423
The Secretary General of Hizbullah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah(HA), addressing the people on the seventh night of Muharram for the year 1423 (March 20, 2002)
In this lecture, Sayyed Hassan(HA), explains the roots of Zionist occupation and American colonialism and so-called "New World Order", this is well worth reading.
In the Name of Allah the most Beneficent and most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah the lord of the world, and may peace and Allah's praises be upon our master and prophet, the purifier of our sins, and the love of our hearts Mohammed ibn Abdullah followed by his pure progeny, rightful followers, and all the martyrs and mujahideen for Allah's teachings since the birth of Adam until the day of judgment.
May peace be upon you my lord and master Abu Abdullah Al Hussein, and upon those spirits who are floating around thy grave.
I send you my adoration as long as night follows day.
I ask my dear Allah to keep me committed to continuously visit thee and thy family.
May peace be upon Al Hussein, Ali the son of Al Hussein, the sons of Al Hussein, and the followers of Al Hussein.
Dear brothers and sisters, May peace be upon you all;
Allah says in his Glory book Verily, Fir'aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them: killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidûn (i.e. those who commit great sins and crimes, oppressors, tyrants). And We wished to do a favor to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers and to make them the inheritors, And to establish them in the land, and We let Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Hâmân and their hosts receive from them that which they feared.
Let's remember some of the words in my speech I read to you on the first night.
I said that Al Hussein may peace be upon him, rose up and fought with the very few members of his family and his companions. He was protecting Islam, the values of Islam, and the existence of this religion, in order to prevent its termination, transformation, vanishing, or the manipulation of its teachings in an aim to send the people back to the early days of ignorance.
I added saying that there are many challenges at this time in which we are living. The declaration of war by the American Administration these days is nothing but a war on Islam, on the values of Islam, on the understandings of Islam, on the Quraan of Islam, and on the Prophet of Islam on the grounds that the existence this religion lives among the people of this nation and its Muslim followers.
I would like to stand up today in the atmosphere of this declaration of war to try and comprehend, explain, and realize the issues widely surrounding us. Consequently we'll realize our stand, the enemy we are facing, and the sort of reality or fact we are living in at this present time.
When we go back and read some of the words or phrases of the American president Bush speeches during the past few days, weeks and months, we will find that some of his words and phrases identified the title of this war.
For example, from what he said: it is the responsibility of each American at the present time to guarantee the domination and the spread of the American values in other parts of this world. I repeat the domination and the spread of the American values in other parts of this world. He spoke these words while he was addressing his officers and soldiers, encouraging them to be patient, endure and tolerate the difficulties.
He told them we are fighting for the values of civilization (of course it would be the materialistic American civilization!). He promises to send forces to this country or that in more than one occasion, and that he aims at transferring the values of the American society to the various countries, societies, and states, since terror cannot be exterminated by the means of military and security only. Yet he says it should be fought by means of culture, which means that we should wipe out the culture that gives birth to terrorists and uprisings, in order to replace it

The talks are aimed at stopping a conflict that has killed more than 130,000 people and created almost 2.5 million refugees. Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem was quoted by state television on Friday as telling international mediator Lakhdar Brahimi that if no serious work sessions were held by Saturday, the government delegation would leave. Brahimi had planned to bring the government and opposition delegations together for a face-to-face meeting but the opposition has refused to meet the Syrian government delegation unless it first agrees to endorse the so-called Geneva I protocol calling for a transitional governing body to be established. Direct talks were scrapped on Friday, so the two sides could meet the UN mediator in different rooms at different times. Badr Jamous, the Syrian National Coalition Secretary-General said: "The negotiations will be indirect until the regime signs Geneva I. We came to implement the Geneva I agreement and if the regime will not abide by Geneva I then direct contact will not be beneficial." Brahimi wants to start with practical steps, like local ceasefires, prisoner releases and access for international aid deliveries before progressing to tougher political negotiations. The UN mediator for the Syrian peace talks Lakhdar Brahimi is encouraged by the discussions he's had so far. "We never expected it to be easy and it is sure it is not going to be. But I think that the two parties understand what is at stake," said Brahimi at a news conference on Friday evening. "The huge ambition of this process is to save Syria, no less than that. So I hope that all three parties: the government, the opposition and the United Nations will be up to the task." If a deal can be reached during discussions over the weekend, relief aid to Homs could begin as early as Monday.
